Dead Ringers Live is coming to Edinburgh Fringe

Dead Ringers is coming to the Edinburgh Festival.
The stars of the hit topical Radio 4 impressions-based comedy show will be performing a run at the Fringe from 2nd to 13th August.
Dead Ringers Live - which will be at Pleasance @ EICC - will star the "dream team" of Jon Culshaw, Jan Ravens, Lewis Macleod and Duncan Wisbey.
The show is being produced independently of the BBC, and follows on from the team's run in May at the Barbican Theatre in London. In a four star review, The Times labelled that show a "gorgeously funny live debut."
The news follows on from Ravens announcing she has cancelled her planned solo show, as she found writing it was causing her to
"revisit the traumatic after-effects of a near-fatal illness in the family". She will now instead perform impressions in this stage show.
The promoters say the new Edinburgh run will feature "a mixture of classic sketches, new material and of course the trademark sharp and topical humour for which Dead Ringers has won critical acclaim over its nearly 20-year history."
They add: "Now is your chance to see some of Britain's favourite impressionists give famous celebrities and politicians the Dead Ringers treatment including Jeremy Vine, Donald Trump, Theresa May and many more!"
