Dave Bibby

Award-winning idiot, Dave Bibby, presents a carousel of comedy: characters, stand-up, sketches, storytelling and, against everyone's advice, rap. Plus cat stories. My cats made me write that. 'Stormed onto stage, captivating the audience with his upbeat musical offerings... A true performer' (Comedy.co.uk). 'Like a Bullingdon Club member crossed with Beetlejuice' (TheReviewsHub.com). Winner: Musical Comedy Awards 2018, Audience Award. Best Male Act at Solo Festival. Finalist: Leicester Square Theatre Sketch Off 2019. As seen on Channel 4, Netflix, BBC Comedy, Comedy Central and yer mum. 'Self-deprecating brilliance' **** (MumbleComedy.net). 'Simply hilarious' **** (Entertainment-Focus.com).

The most impressive thing you have ever been underneath

For this year's Edinburgh Fringe, we've teamed up with Richard Herring (you probably know him best as Journalist from The Battersea Ripper) to offer a peculiar twist on the traditional festival questionnaire - with all the queries taken from his book of Emergency Questions, as originally used on his Leicester Square Theatre Podcast, RHLSTP. Starting with this one: What is the most impressive thing you have ever been underneath?

Fringe 2019 - Dave Bibby: Crazy Cat Lad-y

Critically acclaimed comedian Dave Bibby (Channel 4, Netflix and Comedy Central) is back with a one-man variety show with a conveyor belt of comedy characters, stand up, sketches, storytelling, cat stories and sick ass rhymes.

The Edinburgh Reporter, 7th July 2019

About The Show

If you're a fan of the 1991 classic film 'Hook' you'll love this. Too niche? You'll love it anyway as Dave Bibby takes his hero, Robin Williams, and explores Peter Pan syndrome in millennials. What would Neverland look like in 2019? Plus a picture of a cat falling off a table.
As seen on Channel 4, Netflix, BBC Comedy, Comedy Central and yer mum.

Discussing his forthcoming Edinburgh appearance Dave said: "I think this show sums up what the Free Fringe is all about. It's the most heartfelt and ambitious thing I've ever written yet completely and unashamedly silly."

Awards

WINNER: Musical Comedy Awards Audience Favourite 2018

SEMI FINALIST: Petfringe Comedian of the Year 2019
