Almost, Maine is a town so far north that it is almost not even a town. Since its residents never got around to getting organised, it's just... almost. These northern Maine residents find themselves struggling with love in the most human and, at times, most surreal of ways. Hearts are broken, sometimes they are mended. Old flames are ignited and doused at the same time. John Cariani's modern masterpiece offers no direct route for love, but it does offer a road map to almost any path to love, all under the watchful eye of the Northern Lights.
