The show tonight was absolutely hilarious. It started with Tom Elwes doing a brilliant job picking on everyone, yes, everyone in the audience including me. He handled the boring PhD student particularly well and quickly realised the anorac on the front row should be avoided at all costs. He built the audience up into an excited frenzy ready for Marise. When she started I was worried she was going to be a droning American yawn but no, no, no she wasn't anything like that.. She was off the scale hilarious and Irish, telling tales of her sexual experiences and quizing the audience about theirs. She did well to deal with the creepy guy at the front who was just weird. Joe Hobbs had a difficult act to follow with a particularly odd audience but he romped away with it. Anyone who can laugh at themselves gets my vote and Joe did it with ease.
