2018 Edinburgh Fringe
The Moira Monologues
Moira Bell - single mum, cleaner, hardest woman in Falkirk, and alter ego of writer/performer Alan Bissett - is back at the Fringe after a storming tour of Scotland. Time for Moira to light up a fag and tell her BFF Babs the score. 'This is brilliant stuff' **** (Scotsman). 'It's a sometimes scary pleasure to spend an evening in Moira's company' **** (Independent). 'Moira's a legend. A hilarious but subtly smart work that takes society slowly apart' **** (Skinny). 'Fiercely funny. Rivals any stand-up the Fringe has to offer' **** (OnStageScotland.co.uk). Directed by Sacha Kyle.
