10 years of the Fringe's strangest show

The 2018 Edinburgh Fringe will see the 10th performance of probably the strangest show at the festival.
The self-explanatorily titled A Young Man Dressed As A Gorilla Dressed As An Old Man Sits Rocking In A Rocking Chair For Fifty-Six Minutes And Then Leaves has been performed once each year since 2009.
The performer behind the costume has never been publicly revealed, and even the email announcing the performance comes from a mystery source - 'Liam El Goog' (an anagram of Google Mail).
The show sees the performer dressed as described, doing nothing more than rocking on a chair. Much of the entertainment comes from the audience's attempts to interact with him.
2018 will actually see the young man performing twice on the 13th August.
To mark a decade of the format, the original show will be performed at the Voodoo Rooms at 6:10pm, and then the new show - A Young Man Dressed As A Gorilla Dressed As An Old Man Sits Rocking In A Rocking Chair For Fifty-Six Minutes And Then Leaves... 10 - will be performed later in the evening at Underbelly George Square at 11.20pm.
The 6:10pm show is free entry, but it is noted: "Turn up early. Sellout expected."
The later show at Underbelly is also free, but you need to sign up for a free ticket
