2017 Edinburgh Fringe
Undercover Refugee
Undercover Refugee is a satire about white heroes, cool policemen and sexy Syrians. The show is based on Karen's trip following refugees in 2015 from Lesvos beach towards Europe. It reveals refreshing stories from the refugee trail of police, volunteers and the refugees, far from the image often presented by mainstream media. Gaulier graduated, award-winning actors Karen Houge and David Tann present a captivating visual journey, made in collaboration with John Wright, Nils Petter Mørland and Tormod Fuglestad. 'Tall one moment and truthful the next... This one disrupts it. It tells a different truth' (Fest).
