2017 Edinburgh Fringe

A sharp, zany, imaginative comedy from the pen of the prolific award-winning playwright Alan Ayckbourn. Six aspiring members of the Pendon Writers' Circle gather at the home of their chairman, Arnold, on a winter's evening to discuss their work. While clearing up after the meeting, there is a clap of thunder, and Arnold is astounded when characters from the collective members' fertile imagination appear before his very eyes. Quickly, he finds himself become the central character in a series of strange, mad-cap events that pitch him headlong into the realms of Victorian melodrama, detective stories and science fiction!
