As Carey's marriage crumbles, he swaps his wife for a guitar, elopes with it and writes songs about how he's definitely not having a midlife crisis. Soon, the relationship with his guitar becomes as complicated as the one with his wife. The guitar wants a divorce. In this savagely introspective show, Carey explores failure, disappointment, enthusiasm, and freedom.
