What is life like in a hostile post-Brexit Britain for a British/African woman? She is either completely ignored or too often portrayed as the victim in need of saving. This show explores why immigrants are attracted to the UK, their aspirations and how they thrive amongst these hostilities. Spat on and told to go back to the jungle, Njambi explores the patriotism of immigrants in their new home and dwells on her own experiences as a Kenyan-born UK resident. She is Breaking Black and loving it.
