'The string is the thing' - in the centre of the stage there is a giant sculpture. Is it art? Is it a metaphor for the internet? Exploring the nature of communication itself, the characters follow the winding threads of the internet, only to become increasingly entangled in its ever-evolving web of words and images. The string (and the play) obeys no rules. This 'original and thought provoking' (Cherwell) piece is the debut of Oxford University student Lauren Jackson.
