What's a boy to do? Puddlescombe Prep, the poshest school in Britain (and therefore, or course, the world), is going to the dogs. Is it just plain incompetence from Mr Powers, the pathetic principal? Or are the teachers just not good enough? After all, Mr Dither's always in a... And Mr Beardmore spends far too long in Matron's sitting room. Or is there something darker afoot, involving the dodgy Mr Fletcher and dodgier new Chairwoman of the Governors, Waxy Maude? Good job Jed Bateson and his pals are on hand.
