2016 Edinburgh Fringe
Cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats With a Piano
From street musician to concert artist and back again, the man who was Marvin Hanglider is celebrating his 60th birthday by becoming a fundraiser for Children in Need. A virtuoso pianist, raconteur, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Mike Hatchard presents a show that reflects on an extraordinarily diverse career, including forays into cartooning and comedy. His 2016 tour begins at the open air Minack Theatre in Land's End from where he plans to cycle about fourteen hundred miles performing at arts centres, village greens, even people's front rooms - and the Fringe.

Saw the wonderful Mike Hatchard in his home town of HASTINGS a month ago when he was en route from Lands End to John O' Groats (the pretty way!). An entertainer par excellence. So versatile, self-deprecating, funny and a brilliant musician. Miss him at your peril. We are so lucky to be able to see him often.
Never disappoints. A wonderfully talented jazz pianst, improviser of songs on the spot, and wit. If you enjoy prodigious talent combined with originality, humour and blistering piano rifs get yourself a ticket.
