Morgan & West answers 10 questions about their 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show...

Give us a quick overview of your comedy career so far. Are you happy with where you're at?

The fresh faced youths of Morgan & West first performed together way back in 2008, when beer was cheaper and we were certainly part of the EU. Since then we've been all over the world (four out of seven continents is pretty good going) and even been on the old telly-box a few times. I'd say we were pretty darned happy.

Tell us two truths and one lie about yourself (but mix them up, keep us guessing!).

1. Mr West has a masters degree in Chemistry.

2. Mr Morgan has a masters degree in English.

3. Between them they have 9 tattoos.

Describe your new show in exactly 23 words.

Time-travelling magic duo Morgan & West unload boxfulls of bafflement. Witness a mountain of mystery, hatfulls of hyperreality, and a truck full of tricks.

Any cunning plans to get more punters in?

It's a kids show - kids have to bring adults...

What's your plan for trying to eat - and drink - healthily during the Fringe?

Easy - just don't overindulge. And keep away from the place that does pizza by the slice opposite the Med Quad. Dangerous.

What will you miss most while you're away from home?

Mr Morgan: My Lego batman collection and the freedom to play with it without being embarrassed.

Aside from performing, what else are you looking forward to doing in Scotland's fine capital?

We've already been up Arthur's seat. We need to get a Mac n Cheese under our belt, then it's just seeing shows and catching up with friends.

If you took over programming a Fringe venue, what would your perfect line-up of comedians be?

Sam Simmons, The Axis of Awesome, Frimston & Rowett, Eddie Izzard.

Name the one person you'd rather not bump into during the festival.

Mr Morgan: You know what, I can't think of anyone I don't want to bump into. Oh. No. Wait. I really don't want to bump into Mr West. I see him during the shows and that's, frankly, enough.

Why should audiences pick your show over the 1,800+ other Fringe offerings listed on BCG this year?

If you like your magic silly, baffling, and full of kids then this is the show for you. If you prefer no kids then come anyway, Mr West really does his best to wind them up.

'Morgan & West's Utterly Spiffing Spectacular Magic Show For Kids (and Childish Grown-ups!)' is at Underbelly Med Quad at 1:55pm until the 29th August. Listing
