Frenchy: 10 Edinburgh Fringe questions

Frenchy

Frenchy answers 10 questions about his 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show...

Give us a quick overview of your comedy career so far. Are you happy with where you're at?

I started stand-up comedy in 2008, I started teaching at high schools in 2011 & I started making comedy YouTube videos in 2013. I lost my teaching licence in 2014.

Apparently making YouTube videos called 'Finger or Dick' or 'Around GF vs Around Mates: Anal Sex' wasn't something a 'teacher / role-model' should be doing, according to the school's principal. He makes a valid point to be fair.

Tell us two truths and one lie about yourself (but mix them up, keep us guessing!).

1. I have Chlamydia.
2. I don't have Chlamydia.
3. I have crabs.

Describe your new show in exactly 23 words.

Lol as if I can count to 23.

Any cunning plans to get more punters in?

Free drinks for the guys & free back massages for the ladies. (The drink is water & they have to get it themselves. There is no catch with the back massages, apart from the crabs thing. ;))

What's your plan for trying to eat - and drink - healthily during the Fringe?

I live my life by the simple motto, WWDHD - What Would David Hasslehoff Do? So yeah chances are good I'll be blackout drunk trying to shove a burger into my mouth while a child films it yelling "stop stealing my burger". Wait, what was the question?

What will you miss most while you're away from home?

Antibiotics.

Aside from performing, what else are you looking forward to doing in Scotland's fine capital?

I'm a big Harry Potter fan so I'll spend most of my time trying to find Hermione on Tinder. #fingerscrossed

If you took over programming a Fringe venue, what would your perfect line-up of comedians be?

Myself, Bill Cosby & Kramer. Just cause I think I'd look pretty good compared to those 2.

Name the one person you'd rather not bump into during the festival.

Rolf Harris.

Why should audiences pick your show over the 1,800+ other Fringe offerings listed on BCG this year?

40 million views & 1.3 million Facebook fans can't be wrong can they??? Yes they definitely can be wrong judging by Trump's increasing popularity, but they aren't this time! (Probably.) Come & find out! Bring burgers, cups & antibiotics.

'Frenchy: World's Worst Adult' is at Gilded Balloon at 9:15pm on 3-29 Aug. Listing
