Andy Storey: 10 Edinburgh Fringe questions
Andy Storey answers 10 questions about his 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show.
Give us a quick overview of your comedy career so far. Are you happy with where you're at?
November 2010 is when it all began. When will it all end? How will it all end? I came to Edinburgh last year and loved it. This year I will do my best to avoid the street performers, they frighten me. They might leap out at any minute. You can't avoid happiness, but I'm saving mine up. Happiness is only useful when you're ordering something over the phone. I usually perform in London. Gig most nights of the week.
Tell us two truths and one lie about yourself (but mix them up, keep us guessing!).
1. I have an assistant to answer any online interviews. She's doing this one now.
2. I haven't got an assistant. So she is not doing this now.
3. I haven't got a sister. But if I had, that would be the lie.

Any cunning plans to get more punters in?
A drama student dressed as Frank-N-Furter with his mam's tights on. Crisply say "No thank you!" and keep your eyes down.
What's your plan for trying to eat - and drink - healthily during the Fringe?
Every lunch time when I used to come home from school my mother would make me a boiled egg and toast. I'd eat it at a low table, but sitting on the floor. When I got older I would still have the boiled egg, but resting on my knees sitting on a chair. I'm sure to avoid the naughty boys and girls in Edinburgh. After I've given my all, I'll return to my lodgings and drink black coffee and stare at the wall a while.
What will you miss most while you're away from home?
Every single thing. Get me back there as soon as you can.
Aside from performing, what else are you looking forward to doing in Scotland's fine capital?
I lived in Edinburgh for 5 years of my life so I always have so many ugly memories to be reminded of at every corner. It's a beautiful city. I was younger. Everybody seemed younger then. I love the night time. I used to work in the Carlton Highland Hotel.
If you took over programming a Fringe venue, what would your perfect line-up of comedians be?
Paul Chowdhry (MC) / Tommy Tiernan (closing) / Me in the middle / Katherine Ryan (opening).
Name the one person you'd rather not bump into during the festival.
Someone dressed up as Frank-N-Furter with their mam's tights on.
Why should audiences pick your show over the 1,800+ other Fringe offerings listed on BCG this year?
It's on at half past mid-day. Who doesn't love a laugh, before they go out and have a laugh.
'Andy Storey @funnystorey' is at Gilded Balloon at the Counting House at 12:30pm on 3-29 Aug. Listing
