Nastya Rybachuk is the Queen of Hearts in this world premiere, a poetic extravaganza - clever, entertaining and thought-provoking. The Queen of Hearts tackles issues of politics and sex and takes no prisoners. Powerful, wonderful verses - this is poetry in a pop-art contemporary style.

Nastya writes pop-art poems using the language that people speak today at home, on the street, in offices, pubs, bedrooms and on social networks. Provocatively honest, her poems inspire deep reflection. Much of Nastya's material contains sexual innuendos and references that ridicule the common fears, complexes and stereotypes of today's society.

Of her character, Nastya says; "When I began to work on the programme, I imagined The Queen of Hearts as totally obsessed with sex, power, money and absolutely mad. During the process of creating the character, I realised that she was in fact quite normal!"
