Born in 1903, in the Jewish East End, Grandma Ray wanted to leave her Cockney roots and be a West End flapper. Restricted by family and social restrictions, she kept a part of her life secret. Once discovered, Lisa, her granddaughter, learns about herself. The life of a first generation Londoner is told through live drawing, storytelling and comedy.
