Multiple award-nominated rising star Jonny Pelham brings his debut show, Before and After, to the Edinburgh Fringe.

When he was 16 the NHS asked Jonny Pelham if he wanted cosmetic surgery to improve his appearance. Having been happy with how he looked this came as a shock. In Before and After, Jonny will explore the ups and downs of such an unexpected turn of events amidst the backdrop of having parents as therapists, being the only white boy in his form class at school and having popliteal pterygium syndrome.

Jonny made his comedy debut in 2012 and was runner-up in the prestigious So You Think You're Funny? and Chortle Student Comedian of the Year competitions. Most recently, he was nominated as best newcomer in the Chortle Awards 2014 and was the Judges' Choice in the BBC Radio New Comedy Awards.

He has already received a wave of critical acclaim, with the Evening Standard's Bruce Dessau saying 'Jonny Pelham has a big future' whilst Chortle's Steve Bennett said 'the laughs are explosive.'
