John Lloyd's stellar comedy CV includes creating Not The Nine O'Clock News, Blackadder, Spitting Image and QI. He also started The News Quiz and To The Manor Born for radio and co-wrote the first series of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy with Douglas Adams, with whom he also co-wrote the bestseller The Meaning of Liff.
Recently John returned to his performer roots - he has presented seven series of BBC Radio 4's The Museum of Curiosity as well as delivering funny and informative talks at TED (his video on invisibility attracted over 1 million views), appearing on countless Radio 4 shows (from Infinite Monkey Cage to Desert Island Discs) and performing to sell-out crowds across the UK with his debut solo hour Liff of QI.
This summer John Lloyd returns to the Fringe with a show that is as funny as it is enlightening. Emperor of The Prawns takes you on a whistle-stop tour of the Universe through John's eyes, featuring mind blowing facts, exciting philosophical ideas, and crustaceans*.
