Pride and Prejudice through the looking glass! In this offbeat interpretation, Jane Austen meets a Lizzy Bennet who flits between the character and the actress playing her. As Jane enlists Lizzy's help to recall and reclaim her story, the familiar romantic fantasy of recent versions gives way to the sharp comic irony of the original novel. Jane uses Lizzy to explore anew her characters' absurd pretensions. Jane needs answers, but can Lizzy supply the ones she wants? Who is the author here, the writer or the actress, Jane or Lizzy?
