2015 Edinburgh Fringe
Nymphomania
Alex Dallas, Queen of the Fringe, returns to Edinburgh after 26 years. Nymphomania is a look at Dallas' lifelong illness for which she hopes a cure can be found in her lifetime. The show details her journey from her 7 year-old self discovering Playboy, to her sharing a joint with Jack Nicholson, to her sexual adventures in tents, hearses and car parks. She throws open her life with abandon and honesty, and brings you on a trip that is fierce, funny, feminist and poignant.

Fringe: suicide & drugs for breakfast, laughter & tears
So which, I hear you cry, Edinburgh Fringe shows did I see yesterday?
John Fleming, John Fleming's Blog, 7th August 2015More details
Nymphomania is an hilarious, smart, one woman show that has toured the world. Canada, LA and Australia have been lucky enough to see this saucy expose of Ms. Dallas' wild and wicked life as she has survived her affliction, Nymphomania.
Dallas was a founder member of female comedy supergroup, Sensible Footwear and came to Edinburgh in the 80's under the auspicious management of the late, great Addison Creswell. They first performed at the Fringe in 1982 and shared the stage with many well known names such as Julian Clary, Alan Davies, Jenny Eclair, Rik Mayall, Linda Smith, Mark Thomas and Billy Bragg. After much success touring the UK on the comedy circuit, they emigrated to Canada in the 90's and became firm favourites on the Canadian Fringe circuit.
Now Dallas is back... naughty as ever and starring in her hit show, ]Nymphomania.
Her one woman shows received rave reviews in the Canadian press, earned her the title Queen of the Fringe and have aired on CBC Radio, Bravo and the W TV networks. Her latest role is playing two characters in the new video game, Assassin's Creed Syndicate. She even looks fabulous in a motion capture suit!
