Universal Comedy is a Scottish charity that changes lives through comedy. This year they take to the Fringe stage at the Gilded Balloon for an hour of stand-up comedy showcasing the extraordinary comedy talents of people coping with ill health and mental health challenges. The Clinic show is the charity's fifth appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe and promises an afternoon of outstanding, hilarious and therapeutic comedy, supported by Universal Comedy's team of professional comedic tutors. Universal Comedy change lives through comedy and the Scottish Charity take to the Gilded Balloon stage in August to showcase the extraordinary comedy talents of people coping with ill health and mental health challenges.
The Clinic is the charity's fifth appearance and promises an afternoon of outstanding, hilarious and therapeutic comedy, supported by Universal Comedy's Tutor team - famous stand-up comedians, actors and writers.
Universal Comedy is the only charity using comedy to programme innovative comedy clinics, courses and events to improve the lives of Scottish people who need to rediscover the lighter side of life.
Since 2004, the charity has supported 3000 people and hosted comedy at major festivals, conferences and heath events.
