Stuart Laws is English. He's also writes and performs sketch and stand-up comedy. According to his website his stand-up involves boundless energy and telling stories that weave material in with improvised audience interaction. An energetic and compelling master of audience interaction, Stuart's spontaneous performances see him creating a perversely endearing air of comedic chaos in a show with catchphrases, lebkuchen, helium, gibbons, Billy Joel, volcanoes, spiders and Donnie Darko.
Stuart is a comedian and director who runs Turtle Canyon Comedy and has made films and developed TV with Julia Davis, Daniel Simonsen, Nick Helm, Jessie Cave and the sketch act Toby.
In 2013 he debuted his first stand-up show at the Edinburgh Fringe, was James Acaster's tour support, performed in Colin Hoult's Real Horror Show at The Assembly Rooms. His films have been won and been nominated for awards worldwide, have been written about on all major UK comedy sites and featured by international press and websites such as Upworthy, The Poke, The Evening Standard and The Daily Mirror.
