2014 Edinburgh Fringe
William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors
In the surreal world of Ephesus, mistaken identities and mishaps abound as Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant Dromio encounter their Ephesan doppelgangers, each unaware of the other pair's existence. False accusations of infidelity, theft and even demonic possession are volleyed at the twins as the play rockets towards its hilarious climax. A paean to the great silent comedians Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd as well as a loving homage to the surrealist artists of the 1920s and 1930s, The Comedy of Errors is sure to delight its audiences.
