It's the show audiences have been demanding for years. Now, for the first time, the combined celebrity megawattage of Alistair Donegan ("Policeman" from The Great Train Robbery), David Newman ("Paramedic 1" from Sherlock) and Camilla Whitehill ("Audience Member" from Live & Kicking) will be sharing a stage at the Edinburgh Fringe for the very first time.
Collectively known as Rat, the group will be presenting their sketch show Induction every day at 2.20 at The Tron in what many experts agree is the most alliterative time/location comedy offering at this year's Festival.
Says Newman: "We thought about starting at 2.22 but on reflection felt we might be moving into tongue-twister territory and that's not really our thing. We might also become a twosome - but don't mention that to Alistair".
Formed only last year, Rat have already had a sold-out run of shows at London's Etcetera Theatre, been Popbitch's recommendation of the week and were selected as one of the 12 acts to compete in the London Sketchfest New Act competition.
"Rat are really about three things - making people laugh, good old fashioned theatricality, and justifying the crippling debt that will haunt us for the rest of our lives" says Whitehill.
