Over It - Death, Anorexia & Other Funny Things is a show that seeks to explore more sensitive topics which are normally swept under the carpet. The show looks at the idea that you are your experiences, yet, this is no bad thing. This positive and inspiring show, details how these two up and coming comics are not 'Over It'.

Dave Chawner takes a satirical look into his anorexic past in order to raise awareness of eating disorders and to get people talking about positive body image. Whilst Robyn Perkins recounts the unexpected, ridiculous aspects of dealing with the death of her partner. The show balances serious discussions with hilarious perspectives, walking you through life experience, crisps and lingerie.

The show has received positive feedback including Four Stars from Broadway Baby, of Chortle's 10x10 Top Fringe Shows To See 2013, and being dubbed as "a performance that makes you think as well as laugh" by Broadway Baby.

Dave Chawner

Dave is a full time comic in London, a regular MC/compere, opener and warm up act. Having started in comedy 6 years ago, this is the show that he always wanted to put together. With appearances on TV and Radio, Dave is the media representative of the UK's largest eating disorder charity BEAT. He interviews for various press and media channels talking of his anorexic experiences.
Fun, lively and entertaining Dave will leave you thinking long after the show has finished.

Robyn Perkins

Robyn started stand-up towards the end of 2011 and is now performing in clubs in London and across the UK. She works with the audiences in a friendly, chatty style and creates an honest and entertaining depiction of her life. Her charm and innocence juxtapose the subject matter at hand, resulting in a truly unique performance.
