Hayley Sproull presents Miss Fletcher Sings the Blues; a musical comedy with educational benefits.
A well-meaning but slightly unhinged music teacher treats an unwitting geography class to a surprise music lesson. She tries to inspire a worldly opinion (her worldly opinion) in a class of unsuspecting developing young men (the audience) by teaching them about the power of music.
The show features songs such as 'Key Changes for Africa', 'Puberty Express' and 'Moustache Paradise' that brings to mind the likes of Tim Minchin and Flight of the Concords.
Actress Hayley Sproull is Wellington's latest, greatest comedy talent, winner of Most Promising Female Newcomer at the Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards 2013, Best Newcomer at the 2012 New Zealand International Comedy Festival and People's Choice Award NZ fringe. Hayley is also in New Zealand's top marching team, Lochiel. Hayley has marched in the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, in Switzerland and in Norway.
