The Maryhill Dinosaur is the true and heart warming story of a mentally ill man called Arthur who thinks he is a dinosaur. And to be honest, I'm proud of it but I don't really have a sales pitch - it's either the sort of thing you're into, or it's not. But very simply, I tell funny and personal stories. Last year's Turkeygate show got four stars from Kate Copstick of the Scotsman, who described me as, 'A terrific comedian and wonderful storyteller.' It would be great to see you there...

I went along to see Matt Prices show on the recommendation of a comedian friend and after watching some really awful free shows earlier in the day what a delight this was.
This was the quickest hour of the week so far as Matt, who is a brilliant story teller, took us from the fish factory through scary stories of gangsters and thugs to the very touching story of the Maryhill dinosaur. It had it all, BIG belly laughs, hide behind your hands scaryness and a bit of true love and joy with his missus (as he said he is fighting well above his weight there) in front of a completely full audience.
I left feeling uplifted and happy to watch such an accomplished story telling genius in a free show. Matt admits he is not a good looking or well dressed slick type comic in the show but in my honest opinion this bloke is really really funny and I for one would happily pay to see him any time.
If you want pretty or cool don't go to this, if you want funny, thought provoking, touching and you love a good story JUST GET TO THE COUNTING HOUSE LOFT at 5.45.
