Fed up with corrupt politicians, pointless wars and long queues at Primark? Well Mark Dolan is here to change all that in this hilarious brand new hour of stand-up. Last year marked a return to the festival with his show Mark Dolan - You're Awesome. This time Mark unveils his revolutionary manifesto for a better world. It includes a windfall tax on fake tan, the abolition of supermarket self-service checkouts and a custodial sentence for anyone caught watching kitten videos on Youtube.
Last year he received rave reviews for highlighting the awesome and now he's doing the very opposite, picking on everything that he would change about the planet and its people. Catch this show before you're required to do so by law.
Best known as the host of Channel 4's Balls Of Steel, as well as fronting The World's and Me C4 documentary series about the planet's most extraordinary people, Mark also wields a strong reputation as a standĀup performer. Renowned for both his improvisation and carefully crafted material, Mark is a witty and charming performer in equal measure, and very little escapes his keenly satirical eye.
Mark is currently hosting the morning show from 10am-1pm everyday on Fubar Radio, the world's largest comedy radio network via an app, and a first for UK radio in this genre. He is also starring in a documentary about stand-up comedy for the brand new TV channel London Live.
He launched both E4 and More4 respectively as host of the comedy show Show Me The Funny and as anchor of the late night topical talk show The Last Word. He also completed a five-year stint as host of Sky's flagship movie show 35mm. His first big break came in 2000 when he starred in and co-wrote The Richard Taylor Interviews, the hidden camera job interview show for C4. In the same year, Mark reached the final of the C4 live stand-up competition So You Think You're Funny.
