2014 Edinburgh Fringe
Luke Toulson: Laid-Back Grouch - Free
As seen on Russell Howard's Good News, the award-winning, Perrier-nominated, Amused Moose Top 10 Comedy Show 2013, 'gifted comic' (Sunday Times) returns with a new show about love, parenthood, supporting a rubbish football team and not getting enough attention as a child. And it's free! 'Toulson's skill and speed of improvisation is hugely impressive. He has a natural talent for banter which is a step above the norm... a superbly written piece of work which is poignant, thought-provoking and above all incredibly funny' **** (Chortle.co.uk). 'He's highly skilled and very, very funny' **** (ThreeWeeks).

Andrew Mickel, Such Small Portions, 29th July 2014Edinburgh Fringe Preview: Luke Toulson
He's a funny, quick-thinking storytelling sort of guy who talks about subjects ranging from family and relationships to politics and always finds a fresh angle.
Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 21st June 2014More details
In Laid-Back Grouch, Luke Toulson delivers a beautifully crafted hour of uncompromising, no-frills, stand-up about the relationship he has with his two kids, his half-French/half-Scottish girlfriend, addiction, Tottenham Hotspur, and the valueless age of 37.
Whether it's brutally dissecting the performances of his kids in their production of The Sound of Music, or arguing for the Crack-Den-ification of the nations nursing homes, Luke displays a natural gift for original, intelligent, and very funny stand-up comedy.
Luke Toulson is an award-winning comedian, who has been nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award, appeared on Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three), and whose 2013 Edinburgh show, I Don't Know How I Feel About My Kids, was selected as one of the Top 10 Comedy Shows at the Fringe by Amused Moose.
