2014 Edinburgh Fringe
Lloyd Langford: Old Fashioned
A stand-up show about feeling bamboozled by the modern world. Join Lloyd for a brand new hour of gags, anecdotes, riffs and occasional exasperated pleas to the sky. Will contain jokes about CGI, plugs and gang bangs. As seen in second-hand shops up and down the country, on Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three) and heard on The Rhod Gilbert show (BBC Radio Wales) amongst other things. 'Particularly brilliant' (Fest).

Lloyd Langford is longing for simpler times. His new Edinburgh show finds him jesting about the new-fangled technologies that purport to make our lives easier, but quite often end up making things even more complicated.
Martin Walker, Broadway Baby, 18th June 2014More details
Critically acclaimed Lloyd Langford returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Pleasance Dome from 30 July - 25 August, feeling a bit bamboozled by the modern world.
Old Fashioned sees Lloyd longing for simpler times, jesting about the new-fangled technologies that purport to make our lives easier but quite often end up making things even more complicated. If you don't believe him, he'll show you his collection of mobile phone chargers.
Weaving stories with gags, audience banter and occasional exasperated pleas to the sky, he turns his brand new one hour show into a disarmingly honest and hilarious look at the things we all have to deal with today.
As well as being a regular on Ask Rhod Gilbert (BBC1), Lloyd has made many television appearances, including Dave's One Night Stand (Dave), Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three), and Don't Sit In The Front Row (Sky Atlantic). He also plays Bryn in Everybody Quite Likes Justin, with Justin Moorhouse, He has recently had a sitcom pilot commissioned for Radio 4. He has also written and starred in Here Be Dragons, a sketch show for BBC Radio Wales and recorded a new radio series for BBC Radio Ireland, Scotland and Wales called The Big Celtic Comedy Tour.
As a seasoned writer, Lloyd has contributed to a plethora of hit shows including Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC2), Ask Rhod Gilbert (BBC1), Live At The Apollo (BBC1), Have I Got News For You (BBC1), 8 out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Mock The Week (BBC2) and has recently written for Man Down (Channel 4).
