The slightly wicked godmother of Scottish comedy returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to say the things you think but can't say aloud. Current affairs, politics and stories so outrageous they are barely believable, the over-friendly cleaner with the razor-sharp wit is back and this time she's brought her award-winning comedian daughter, Ashley Storrie... again. Davidson, Godley & Canadian cottage misunderstanding
The final show I saw at the Edinburgh Fringe last night was Jim Davidson's No Further Action which I really do have to say was an utterly brilliant, flawless hour of comedy. Genuinely, utterly brilliant. It knocked most other Fringe comedy shows into the amateur starters section.

Fringe legend Janey Godley, or "the slightly wicked godmother of Scottish comedy" if you want her own description, is back at the Festival. And this year's show Oh My Godley! boasts not only outrageous stories a plenty, but also a Storrie, as in Ashley Storrie, as in Janey's award-winning comedian daughter. The awards being for the comedy, not the daughterhood I think.
