Enemy of the self-righteous! Conqueror of pretension! Champion of profanity! 23-year-old Fin Taylor is one of the UK's most precocious stand-up talents and he is set to dismantle everything in his wake at this year's Edinburgh Fringe with his debut hour Real Talk. If you don't like being told what to do, this is the show for you!

Real Talk is inspired by Fin's nagging doubts about existence, epiphanies, shame, listless angst and the time that a dog made him yawn. The show explores the constant conflict between his naturally stubborn cynicism and his romantic, sepia-tinted ideals. When you're bullish about being told how to live to the point that you reject everything, nostalgia might be the only thing you have to hold on to.

His captivatingly unforced persona and matter-of-fact observations have led audience after audience to fall in love with his naturally comic storytelling and ensured he has fast become a much in-demand MC. However he has always stayed true to his ambition to create unique, concise, observational comedy with depth and that is evident in his new show.

This will be his fifth consecutive appearance in Edinburgh after being chosen to perform in showcases The Lunchtime Club (2011) and The Big Value Comedy Show (2012) and in 2013 his 40-minute solo show Cramp played to full houses. As well as his solo work, Fin is part of cult-live show The Bear Pit Podcast (Podcast) with fellow stand-ups Mat Ewins, John Kearns, Adam Hess, Matt Winning, Lolly Adefope and Richard Gadd.

Since performing his first ever comedy gig at the tender age of 15, Fin Taylor has gone from strength to strength, he reached the semi-finals of both the Chortle Student Comedy Award and The Laughing Horse New Act of the Year. He has supported the likes of Russell Howard and Glenn Wool on tour, performed internationally and warmed-up for TV shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC2), Nick Helm's Heavy Entertainment (BBC Three) and Pointless (BBC1).
