Rhys James films sitcom to promote his Fringe show
With so many shows at the Fringe, everyone needs to come up with a unique way to try and stand out in terms of publicity. We've seen all sorts of ideas of the last few years, but here's one we've not encountered before: an online sitcom.
In the five-part series, which you can watch below, stand-up Rhys James portrays a comedian who finds himself forced into theming his show around Harry Potter.
The young comedian has roped some of his fellow comics - including Matthew Crosby, Nat Luurtsema and Chris Kendall - to play the various business types who divert him from presenting a show he believes in.
Rhys James: Begins - which isn't actually about the boy wizard - is at the Pleasance Courtyard at 4:45pm until the 24th August. Listing
