Guess which stand-up is a Minister
The stand-up show Old Men Walking features Rod Hunter, John Purves and Les Sinclair.
These three stand-ups, who are back at the Edinburgh Festival for a third year running, are "undaunted by the fact that they are older than the fathers of many of their comedy colleagues" and busy providing an hour of comedy every day at The Beehive Inn.
Purves is a Church of Scotland minister, Hunter works for a Housing Association training organisation, and Sinclair is a retired Secondary school teacher. But, looking at their photo below, can you guess who is who? (The answer is below).
The trio say they have "never tried to be trendy and ground-breaking" and have "recognised their demographic". It's a section of society they say is "often forgotten by the young guns and hipsters of the comedy world".
You can see Old Men Walking at 2:40pm at The Beehive Inn until the 17th August. Listing
The answer
On the left is Rod, who works for a Housing Association training organisation.
In the middle is Les, the retired Secondary school teacher.
