2014 Edinburgh Fringe
FOMO: The Fear of Missing Out
Live from the studios of Radio Forth One, Zoe McDonald and her 12 alter-egos broadcast their own radio programme. A theatre comedy beaming direct to your headphones. 'There is such polish in the craft and flow of the show, and such charisma in the delivery of the material, that FOMO goes down like fine champagne, dry and intoxicating' (Australian). 'This irreverent and skilled comic performance borrows something of the lustre of the golden age of Australian sketch comedy' (Age). 'Best Comedy at the Adelaide Fringe' (Adelaide Advertiser).

Four female comedy stars to watch at the Fringe
You may have failed miserably at scoring tickets for last year's Edinburgh Comedy Award winner - FYI, Bridget Christie's A Bic for Her rightfully scooped the Best Show prize - but there are plenty of other female comic talents making waves at the Fringe in 2014, actively disproving the myth that women aren't funny.

Don't miss out on the fear. Live from the studios of Forth One comes rising Australian sketch comedy talent Zoe McDonald, who is suffering from FOMO - The Fear of Missing Out. Thankfully, all twelve of her alter-egos are prepared to share it with you.

Having stormed the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festivals, now Edinburgh gets the turn to give into the fear of missing out and see this one-of-a-kind show.
"The energy and panache with which McDonald embodies and snaps between each character simply must be seen to be believed. After a celebrated sell-out season at Radio Adelaide we can assure Fringe goers this is a journey into the unexpected; a one-woman sketch comedy experience like no other that nails the greatest fear of the current generation: The FOMO," says director Bryce Ives.
"Both love letter and critique of our modern age, FOMO is peppered with the type of stuff that clogs up my Facebook adverts: body and soul improvements, Zumba classless and Brazilian waxing," says Zoe McDonald.
FOMO was named Best Comedy of the Adelaide Fringe by the Adelaide Advertiser and won an Adelaide Fringe Festival Tour Ready Award. FOMO: The Fear of Missing Out is presented by the innovative Australian theatre ensemble Present Tense, which makes award-winning, site-specific immersive DIY theatre.
