Calypso Nights - an exploration of wonder. Venezuelan Calypso DJ Juan Vesuvius (aka Barnie Duncan) uses two turntables and a microphone, vinyl records, plus maracas (and a beautiful handmade shirt) to tell a musical tale. He makes amusing remarks and punchlines simultaneously. Covering the history of Calypso, Soca, Kim Jong Un, beauty pageants and cunnilingus. 'One of the most jaw-achingly good musical-comedy shows New Zealand has ever seen' (New Zealand Herald). Nominated for Best Newcomer, New Zealand Comedy Festival 2013.
