When it first came to Edinburgh, The Sitcom Trials discovered Miranda Hart's joke shop sitcom. Will this year's winners beat that? We hope so.
The Sitcom Trials is the ultimate comedy writing competition. Brand new situation comedies go head to head, you vote for the best. Following heats in London, Manchester and Bristol, where thirty sitcoms were showcased with winners being chosen by the audience and a panel of TV industry judges, we present the grand final, in conjunction for the first time with the Gilded Balloon's legendary Foster's So You Think You're Funny? contest.
Have we found the new Vicious? The new Veep? The new Vicar of Dibley? You decide.
