2013 Edinburgh Fringe
Paul Gannon Ain't Afraid Of No Ghost
Since 1984, Paul had one dream: to be Ghostbuster. Two years ago Paul's childhood dream came true! Paul takes you on his Ghostbusting odyssey of hosting psychic theatre tours, braving haunted houses across the UK, co- writing a song with Sigourney Weaver, being hounded by offended religious groups, and getting dating advice from Derek Acorah. A mix of storytelling, sketches, videos and songs to tell the unique tale of how the demons under your bed are not as bad as the demons in your mind. 'Rapid fire delivery and side-splitting one liners' (ArtsInLeicester.co.uk).

Can ghosts and laughs mix?
Andrew Mickel, Such Small Portions, 6th August 2013More details
In his first ever solo show, Paul Gannon brings Aint Afraid Of No Ghost to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival between 1st August - 25th August, at Just The Tonic. Paul takes you on a journey that proves that, although he Ain't Afraid of no Ghost... He sometimes finds the living truly terrifying!
The show mixes stand-up, story-telling, sketches, video clips, paranormal evidence and songs, to tell a unique story about one man's search for the supernatural... and how his battle against the undead became a battle against the demons in his mind!

Paul Gannon has been banging about in the comedy world for years, but only recently gave himself over to the dark side of stand-up comedy. Outside of the copious amounts of stand up gigs he performs at around the country, Paul has also written for various BBC Radio and TV projects, including Dead Ringers, The Day The Music Died and Half Sketch. He has also written for Channel 4's The Weekly Show (Iain Morris - The Inbetweeners) and ITV's The Sitcom Trials. He has also appeared in Gamesmaster (Channel 4), The Imran Yusuf Show (BBC Three), Dead Set (Channel 4). He has performed stand-up around the throughout Europe, Boston, New York and LA, in various sketch and improv groups and can also play a mean Ukulele.
Paul is a type of 'geek' comic, mixing pop culture references with random trains of thought, he can juggle the cool with the crude and his improv experiences gives him the gift of being able work on the fly and change and adapt to different venues and audiences.
