Admin

A show about identity, offence and what happens when someone on the internet steals your face. Fresh from a sell-out London run and being nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. Also he's a brilliant dude. As heard on BBC Radio 4. 'Massively charming and very witty ... a delightful talent' (Time Out). 'Impressive and accomplished' **** (Scotsman). 'Superb ... delivered with such glorious abandon' **** (List). 'A warm, likable presence ... Kumar picks out his own weaknesses and holds them up to highly entertaining public ridicule' (Guardian).

Nish will take his highly awaited second show, Nish Kumar Is a Comedian to Edinburgh Fringe Festival's Underbelly once more. The show is about identity, offence and what happens when someone on the Internet steals your face!

This follows on from last year's critically acclaimed show Who Is Nish Kumar? that earnt him a Top 10 position in Dave TV's Funniest Jokes on the Fringe, his successful London Soho Theatre run and nomination for 'Best Show' at the Leicester Comedy Festival.

Back in 2010 Nish's double act, The Gentlemen of Leisure completed a hugely successful sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival. Following the acclaim, their show returned in 2011 along with Nish's own stand up show which he hosted and featured in alongside various other comics: Daniel Simonsen, Josh Widdicombe, James Acaster and Dan Atkinson.

Last year not only saw The Gentlemen of Leisure write and perform a site-specific tour of the British Museum but found Nish taking up both sought after hosting roles for both lecture series PLEB Talks and Fat Tuesday, dubbed 'One of London's Best Comedy Nights' by Time Out.

Come spring Nish was handed the coveted mantel as series warm up for Dave's One Night Stand playing to full to capacity theatres such as the Hackney and Shepherd's Bush Empire.
