Live Bait presents an extraordinary world of surreal chaos; think French & Saunders having a strong cocktail with The Mighty Boosh. Writers and actresses Letty Butler and Lucy Pearman] whip through a medley of curious characters including an ADHD Satan who just wants God to come to his party, Anthony Hopkins and his beloved Fish Woman, country bumpkins-cum-serial killers Lynda and Linda, The Owl & The Pussycat having a boat-related ruckus and two pissed off elves in the midst of Santa's sweat shop.

Live Bait is directed by Matt Peover, who brought us Nick Helm's This Means War! at The Pleasance last year to huge critical acclaim, as well as Edinburgh favourite The Fitzrovia Radio Hour (5th Year!) at The Gilded Balloon.

Letty and Lucy met and trained together at LAMDA seven years ago. They are currently writing a comedy short for BAFTA, directed by James Griffiths (Free Agents, Episodes, Up All Night, Cuban Fury). They have also collaborated with Steve Bendelack (French & Saunders, The Mighty Boosh, Little Britain) and the creators of The Revolution Will Be Televised.
