2013 Edinburgh Fringe
Jessica Fostekew: Moving
Jessica's wonder-filled third show regales with the glorious realities of moving in with a hoarder and out of a crack den full of nurses with giant dogs like zebras. So don't worry, it's not all about transport and crying. Actually, it is a bit about crying. Jess's been busily in-and-out of trouble, up and down the world but somehow she stays in one room for a whole hour, to tell you all the funniest things about moving. 'Great fun' (Guardian). 'Consistently hilarious' (Fest) 'Fascinating and funny' (List). 'Very talented' (Time Out, London). www.jessicafostekew.com

Jessica Fostekew: Moving from the big 4 to the big free (Link expired)
Jessica Fostekew, "comedy human" whose stand-up show Moving is part of this year's Free Fringe, tells us why there's no profit in paid venues.

Following the success of her two previous shows, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Jessica returns this year with a brand new show about... well... moving.
This wonder-filled third show regales with the glorious realities of moving in with a hoarder and out of a crack den full of nurses with giant dogs like zebras. So don't worry, it's not all about transport and crying (it is a bit about crying). She's been busily in and out of trouble and up and down the world but luckily she stands (almost) still for an hour in this show, just to tell you all the funniest things about moving.
Both of Jessica's previous shows have sold and been loved by audiences and critics alike and her debut show, Luxury Tramp was selected as one of The Top Ten Edinburgh Newcomers 2011 in the Independent and was one of the 2|entertain Laughter Awards Top Ten.
Jessica has been performing improvised comedy and working as a comedy writer and actress since 2005. In early 2008 she hit the UK stand up circuit like a thunderbolt of joy!
In March 2012 her stand up was showcased on Stephen K Amos's new BBC Radio 4 show and she has supported Micky Flanagan and Terry Alderton on tour across the UK.
Jessica has written for Channel 4's Stand Up For The Week and BBC Radio 4's The Now Show and is developing various TV pilots and a radio play at present.
An inspirationally funny show for anyone who ever felt that their life might be lacking in momentum.
