Gotcha
A disillusioned and desperate kid accidentally takes the teachers hostage on the last day of school. And nobody knows her name. Set in the space of one day, Gotcha delves into the realities of life after education, challenging our understanding of authority and aggression in the classroom. Reading University Drama Society's contemporary take on Barry Keefe's 1977 play unearths its sombre relevance in today's world, whilst stimulating memories of adolescence and the nostalgia of school life. Laugh-out-loud hilarious to wincingly believable' ***** (ThreeWeeks, Wild Allegations 2012).
