Jake is a 14-year-old geek. When he's not behind the dustbins taking refuge from bullies, he escapes into his own world by writing. The story unfolds on a tower block roof as a group of his classmates join him. The bully, the wannabes and the sensible one are all there, with their own angst and dreams. As the classmates gradually become embroiled in the story, the fairy tale that Jake weaves begins to reflect the lives and enmities of the group.
