2012 Edinburgh Fringe
Ne'er the Twain
The adjoining towns of Edinburgh and Leith co-existed in friendly rivalry for countless generations but in the 1920's there was a successful movement to join the two. This produced stresses and strains, most of them amusing but none more so than for the two families from opposite sides of the dividing line who feature in this hilarious comedy. Matters are brought to a head by the prospect of a marriage across the boundary.
