Turkish Prince. Stand-up comic. Tragically exiled. With appearances on BBC Three's Live At The Electric and Russell Howard's Good News, the hairy one from sketch trio WitTank returns with another sweat-fuelled, energy-packed show. This bearded fool may have blue blood but his true majesty lies in making you laugh. Bow down before him, then stand up and applaud. 'Buckets of wit and charm' **** (Telegraph). 'A blistering hour of ultra-confident comedy' (ShortList). 'An uncompromising Turkish warlord... armed with inspired original material, a sharp sense of humour and star potential' (Metro).

Naz Osmanoglu: Turkish Prince. Stand-up comic. Tragically exiled. With appearances on BBC Three's Live At The Electric and Russell Howard's Good News, the hairy one from sketch trio WitTank returns with another sweat-fuelled, energy-packed show, Ottoman Without an Empire. This bearded fool may have blue blood but his true majesty lies in making you laugh. Bow down before him, then stand up and applaud. After his critically acclaimed debut stand-up show 1000% Awesome, Naz returns to the Fringe this year to further investigate his Turkish lineage. He is currently 19th in line to the Turkish throne (look it up on Wikipedia) but is starting to realise that it might be an empty title, despite what his terrifying Turkish father thinks...

In 2009 Naz won the Amused Moose Laugh-off Competition, was runner-up in So You Think You're Funny and in 2010 nominated for Chortle Best Newcomer. He was then selected to be one of the new stars for BBC Three's Laughter Shock, a hybrid of stand-up and sketch comedy as well as a performer in The Comedy Zone, the fringe's longest running new talent showcase. This year Naz will also be appearing in WitTank, the critically acclaimed sketch troupe who last year performed to consistently packed houses.
