A darker side to improvisation. 'Me' is on his own, 'Me' is a bit messed up, 'Me' could really use a friend. But at the moment all he's got is a three foot two ventriloquist's dummy with a passion for rock ballads - so that'll have to do. Gary Kitching cut his improvising teeth with improv group The Suggestibles but his first solo show may not be quite what you'd expect. Dark and painfully funny, the question you need to ask yourself is just how far you'll let him self-destruct? ***** (The Public Review).
