If at first you don't succeed; try, try again! If you still don't succeed, it might not be a bad idea to sit down and have a good think about what it is you're trying to do. Jarlath Regan (Comedy Central), after having a good think, presents a comedy extravaganza of tales and illustrated points around, but not exclusively, on the subject of optimism in a bleak world. ***** 'Hilarious change of pace' (Independent). **** 'Side-splitting stuff' (Metro). ***** 'Subtle yet sublime helping of observational wit' (Herald).

"If at first you don't succeed; try, try again!" But if you still don't succeed, it might not be a bad idea to sit down and have a good think about what it is you're trying to do. Jarlath Regan has performed on The World Stands Up (Comedy Central) and Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three) and after having a good think, presents a comedy extravaganza of tales and illustrated points around, but not exclusively on the subject of optimism in a bleak world.

Award-winning comedian, writer and star of the hit Irish panel show, The Panel, Jarlath Regan has gained a reputation with the industry and audiences for his uplifting, inventive and relentlessly funny stand-up.

Since 2007 Jarlath has brought five solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe and has performed at The Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, The New Zealand Comedy Festival and the Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane festivals as a part of the Best of The Edinburgh Fest Showcase tours.

A finalist in both the BBC and Channel 4 New Comedy Awards, Jarlath's first published book How To Break Bad News (Transworld for Random House) was an instant Irish bestseller. Jarlath's second book Putting A Ring On It - What Not To Do When Attempting To Get Married, was released in April 2011, featured more than 200 brand new illustrations and also became a cult hit in his homeland.

An accomplished television and radio presenter (on television in Ireland) in 2011 Jarlath co-hosted and devised comedy segments for a season of children's television on Ireland's national broadcaster RTE. Jarlath's other credits include Comedy Central's The World Stands Up, Last Comic Standing on NBC, Live At The Stand Comedy Club (BBC Radio Scotland), The Blame Game (BBC Radio Ulster) and The Apprentice: You're Fired (TV3).
