It's Grimm Up North preview
Once upon a time, there were only stand-ups and sketch shows. That was, until the knight in shining armour, Hardbody Productions, came along. Inspired by fairytales, fables and films, they found themselves brandishing more than enough material for their particular blend of cartoon humour and parody.

The Show
It's Grimm Up North is an original blend of animated humour and parody, inspired by fairytales, fables and films. The show provides Edinburgh audiences with a refreshing comedy alternative, the first ever animated comedy at the Fringe festival. The series is set in the fictional northern town of Hardington. Meet Gideon Gold, a sinister supermarket manager; Billy Roundy, a b*stardly barber; Dr. Botch, a gaff-prone general practitioner and many other bizarre characters. Audiences will laugh happily ever after.
The Company and Higher Education collaboration
Established in 2011, Hardbody Productions produce adult-oriented, character-based animated comedies, helping to overcome a shortage of successful British productions. Hardbody work with Higher Education Institutions, regularly providing job opportunities for graduates and work experience placements for students enrolled on animation, music and drama degree programmes. Hardbody have significantly expanded over the last year from a one-man scriptwriter to a private company with a diverse range of collaborative partners.
